Melody holds a Bachelor's degree in Psychological Science and Business (Psychology) (Hons) and has completed her Doctor of Philosophy (Psychology) from Monash University. Her extensive background in research covers a wide range of topics, including self-esteem, motivation, body image, sexual function, personality, psychosocial development, and autobiographical memory. Currently, Melody is pursuing her Master's degree in Clinical Psychology, which enables her to effectively bridge the gap between research and clinical practice to provide comprehensive and evidence-based support to her clients. As a fitness enthusiast well-versed in strength and hypertrophy training, coupled with her previous experience from competing in squash tournaments, Melody understands the challenges that athletes and individuals in the general population encounter within the realm of sports, including issues regarding motivation, burnout, performance anxiety, eating disorders, and goal setting. She believes that performance is a game of mental skills that can be strengthened with psychological strategies tailored to the needs of the client and their sport, and she is committed to the holistic well-being of her clients, both inside and outside the gym.
